Case Study
The 4heroes.co.uk website is a showcase and good balance of good, compliant design and also great Search Engine Optimisation.
The website was created as a project involving me and a good friend / business contact. The aim of 4heroes is to give 30% of every website sale to the charity Help for Heroes, which is aimed at helping soldiers.
This charity is one that is very close to home for me, as I have a few good friends in the forces serving their time overseas. I saw an opportunity in the market, not only to do something unique, but also to help a very deserving cause.
The website itself is based on a clean, open plan layout that has easy to use navigation, product display boxes on the main page and clear, easy to read content.
The website is coded in HTML, with CSS style-sheets, some Javascript functionality and a PHP based contact and enquiry form, all tailored specifically to what I saw fit. The website is also well Search Engine Optimised and the blog and website have proved to rank well. I have not updated the blog for sometime.
