This is the Inked Media website design I created for my own company. It was made fully in Adobe Flash and runs using ActionScript.
It is colourful, dynamic and very aesthetically pleasing.

Case Study
I initially drafted this design in April 2009 after becoming sick of the previous design. Since I started Inked Media in late 2007, I branded it with blue colours. I kept to this theme with the new design.
I enjoyed creating this website as it was the most creative and first fully-flash website I had created to date. I had worked with Flash before but never to this level and therefore proving to be a surprise to even myself after completion (1.5 months of evening work and hundreds of cups of tea!)
I originally created the golden leaf design on the left hand side in Fireworks and intended for it to not be animated. After fiddling about in flash I realised I could use a nice, subtle effect on it to make it look very effective. I drew inspiration for the humming bird from a graffiti collection book, intending on incorporating a spray paint-looking bird. I soon settled for a vectored image which I animated using a line of Flash animation.
I made the website easy to understand and fairly easy to navigate while keeping it fresh and intricate. I have not updated the news on the main website since 2009, as I have been updating a blog for the website instead.
Overall, I think this is one of the nicest designs I have done to date. I cannot count the number of compliments I have had on it.
